As part of the wider Build Yourself programme, George Jones donated painting overalls, boots and various other materials to the participants.

The initiative seeks to help young new starters in the industry, by giving career talks and providing materials, which all contributes to the positive outcomes and impact.

30 participants completed this course - and they all gained Health & Safety Level 1 (1st part of CSCS card), RIDDOR, COSHH, Working at Height and Emergency First Aid at Work... Two gained jobs during the programme and they’re all booked to sit their CSCS card exam.

George Jones contribution included overalls gifted to the participants as part of their takeaway toolkit at the end of the course, in addition to steel toe capped boots. This equipment helped to enable  participants to attend a site visit as part of their learning and development.
