We are one of the largest privately owned and managed painting and maintenance contractors in the UK, and have been trading since 1899. For painters, we are looking for the applicants to gain varied site experience initially covering basic painting and pre-decorating preparation skills with a view to gaining a trade in the field of painting & decorating. For joiners, we initially cover basic joinery skills, but with increasing knowledge, will cover more joinery works such as skirting, architraves, fitting doors and frames, fascia, soffit’s, fencing all pre-decorative maintenance joinery repairs with a view to gaining a trade in Joinery. Our works mostly cover School, Colleges, Universities, public sector buildings and we cover large scale Cyclical Redecoration Contracts of housing stock across the North West and South East of the country.

We are currently looking for Apprentice Painters and Joiners who are hardworking, reliable and willing to learn to paint and decorate. The ideal candidate would be someone who likes to work somewhere different each day, and who enjoys seeing the improvement a great decorator can make to any property. The successful applicants will be completing a two-year apprenticeship to NVQ Level 2 whilst working on site for 4 days a week, working on all the skills required to achieve their qualification, they will be washing down and preparing various surfaces for painting and painting various surfaces, they will also be attending college for one day a week. The role does not require any experience as full training is provided.
