George Jones is one of the largest family owned and managed Painting, Decorating and Building Maintenance Contractors.

Established in Liverpool in 1899, we specialise in everything from painting, decorating, joinery, fencing, roofing works, composite fire door installations and more. With over 100 years’ experience we can call ourselves experts in our field.

This long history has taken the company from humble beginnings to working as far afield as the Middle East, Buenos Aires, Singapore & Scottish Castles and more latterly across the North West, London and throughout the South East.

Previous works have included being the holder of many MOD contracts to term contracts at the Palace of Westminster (10 years) and at the Tower of London (25 years). Works vary from such prestigious sites to the painting and repair of housing for our numerous Housing Association clients.

Currently Social Housing is our forte, where each year we paint over 7,000 houses and in the last 15 years alone we have painted over 100,000 houses across the country. Ensuring resident’s surroundings are properly maintained, safe and hospitable.

The ethos of the company is built on our beginnings and we continue to offer a quality & dependable service. We continue to invest in our people and apprentices, some of whom are 2nd, 3rd or even 4th generation.
